At Faelight Forge, we handle the sets, styling, and atmosphere, so you can focus entirely on photographing!
This immersive, hands-on experience is designed for photographers ready to elevate their portfolio with cinematic, professionally styled imagery. You’ll photograph two fully realized fantasy concepts, each thoughtfully designed, styled, and lit to produce images that truly stand out.
Build your portfolio with two studio fantasy photoshoots along with lighting demos with NANLITE gear.
Begin your quest in our DRAGON’S LAIR : An adventurer stumbles into the mouth of the cave, in search of a foreboding dragon! Capture cinematic shots featuring 10ft tall rock formations. You’ll photograph a fully styled model in armor thats feels pulled straight from a movie. Modeled by @dahliastrack
Then we’ll swap the set over to CAPTAIN’S QUARTERS: two pirate lovers have successfully discovered the treasure and return below deck to celebrate their plunder! A couples session modeled by @honeyswordcosplay and @caffasaurus.
For each set design there will be a guided lighting demonstration using NANLITE gear. Beyond capturing stunning visuals, you’ll understand exactly how to light them in the future.
You’ll leave with a cohesive set of images to immediately add to your portfolio!

For each set design there will be a lighting demo breaking down how each light is used in the scene. You’ll also have the option to adjust the lighting for a more hands-on experience to try out different dynamic options in your photos. Your lighting extraordinaire! Olivia is known for her immersive, cinematic approach to lighting, crafting images that feel as though they’ve been pulled straight out of a fairytale. With a deep understanding of both natural and studio light, she blends technical precision with creative intuition. When you attend this event you’ll get to witness exactly how these worlds are brought to life!

Your styling and posing expert! Cait is a multidisciplinary creative whose strength lies in transforming concepts into fully realized visual worlds through wardrobe and prop styling. She picks the perfect outfits and props that help our sets feel cohesive, intentional, and rich with storytelling. Her experience as a model gives her a unique advantage on set, understanding how to pose and interact within a scene from all angles.
