Booking Info FAQ

I am based in New England, but I’ll travel anywhere you want me!
I will typically require overnight accommodations for locations further than 100 miles of Worcester County, MA.

Our Studio, Faelight Forge, is located in Northbridge, Massachusetts. While there is no direct public transportation to the studio, If you are coming from Boston, you can take the Worcester Line outbound MBTA Commuter Rail to Grafton, and then from there it's about a 20 minute Uber drive to our studio.

My books open periodically throughout the year and are typically no further than 3-4 months in advance, with some exceptions if you are hiring me to shoot a ball or a wedding, larger events or other circumstances.

Each project varies depending on your vision! Please reach out through the inquiry form for customized pricing. The lowest package I offer starts at $375.

Yes! 50% is due upon booking to secure your spot and the remainder can be broken up into smaller payments over time. Please mention your interest in a payment plan in your inquiry.

No, we accept other methods of payment including Venmo. Please reach out to us for more information on this!

I take on a handful of proposals, engagement sessions and weddings each year. I don’t consider myself a “wedding photographer” but if you like my work I can easily translate it into capturing your special day and have done so many times before! I select applications on a case-by-case basis, bonus points if your wedding hits the fantasy niche!

Day of Photoshoot FAQ

Absolutely. Most of my clients are new to this experience. I’ll guide you through every step and make sure you look and feel magical every step of the way!

Yes! Up to two guests may accompany you and you must provide their names for us ahead of time. For safety reasons, children under 13 are not allowed inside our studio.

Yes! All packages can be upgraded to include additional people, with an additional cost per person. Please mention this in your inquiry so we can include this in the rate.

You’ll need to book that separately and arrive at the studio/location with hair & makeup ready for your shoot. We have recommendations if you are looking for someone!

Yes! Wardrobe Rentals are available for pickup from our studio in Northbridge MA. Please use the contact form and select “Wardrobe Rental” as the service, and in the notes let us know what days you’ll need the items for. We’ll reply back with a pricing list and a special link to our online closet that you can use to add items to your “cart” . Once you submit your request, we’ll confirm the item’s availability. If they are available, we will send you an invoice and arrange for your pickup.

That will depend on the type of session you are booking. If you are booking a Mini Session you will need to bring your own costume (with the exception of us providing swords/weapons). If you are booking a Fantasy Portrait Base Package, you’re welcome to wear your own pieces, use our fantasy closet, or combine both!

If your package includes it - yes! With the exception of armor, all items are free to borrow on the day of your shoot, pending availability. Armor is a small additional fee, as it requires you arriving at least 30 minutes early and our squires to fit you!

When browsing the fantasy closet, you’ll see size information listed for each item. During the styling process, we’ll also collect your measurements and work with you to determine the best possible fit.
Our closet is size-inclusive, with many options designed to work for a wide range of body types. Some pieces are flexible or adjustable and can accommodate multiple sizes; specific measurements are always available upon request.
While the fantasy closet is available for use, you’re also welcome to bring your own pieces or backup options if you have concerns about fit.

We have…so many props. These include swords/weapons, books and scrolls, lanterns, candelabras, flowers, moss, etc. Please let us know if you are looking for something specific and we can tell you if we have it or not. Many of our props are also included in our fantasy closet. You can use the search bar to look for a specific item!
Fantasy Closet FAQ

Galleries are delivered within 4 weeks or less. Rush delivery is available for an additional fee if arranged in advance.

One courtesy reschedule is allowed. Additional reschedules may incur project restart fees. This does not apply to rescheduling in the case of weather.

No. Raw files are never provided!

Each session includes a Personal Use License, allowing use for social media and personal printing.
Commercial use requires a separate license. If you plan to use images for your business or other promotional purposes, please include those details in your inquiry so we can provide a commercial quote.

I do not alter body shape — ever. I believe you deserve to be seen in your most magical light and you can feel all of that magic without altering your body in photoshop!
The only time I ever touch skin is to remove temporary elements (such as bruises or blemishes)
Permanent features are only edited upon request and granted on a case-by-case basis. Advanced retouching is available for an additional fee.

My approach is to make your fantasy feel as real as possible in camera first. If your vision includes a castle, I’d always prefer to photograph at an actual castle rather than rely on heavy compositing. I am not opposed to photoshopping something into your images, it will be considered on a case-by-case basis, depending on the concept and what you’re hoping to achieve! Complex editing may constitute an additional fee.
